Anybody used these pads? http://www.prestostore.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?ref=exceldetail&ct=65899 I like 5.5 inch pads but there's only two colors... That's odd . The orange pad can be used for cutting, polishing, or light polishing. That's a very versatile pad..
i would assume it all depends on the product. If you use a heavy compound then it can be used for cutting. if you use a lighter polish then the pad is perfect for polishing. They say its a polishing pad, and like most polishing pads they are product dependent.
The only thing I find odd is that the orange pad can be used with cutting AND polishing AND finishing polish. I would think that there would be no more need for a white pad then .
