Im fairly new to this forum, but Ive had the chance to do a fair bit of reading in it, and dont really see much mentioned about zymol waxes? Ive had the opportunity to acquire a tub of zymol carbon/zymol rouge/zymol hd cleanse in the last 5 weeks and actually used the rouge on one of my cars, gave it a nice gloss, Im going to put another coat on the car once this rain and cold disappears! Please chime in with your opinions on zymol waxes. Thanks, Rohit
My experience with Zymol is a bit funny because I really like my Z Concours wax in terms of finish and the fantastic beading but there are times where it can really act up and be a pain in the rear to apply which makes me upset with it. I also tried a sample of HD cleanse and found it to be ok, I am very curious to try a higher end offering like their holiday 2 wax kit.
+1, I also curious about the Holiday 2 Kit. it make me wonder why the sample pot (56.69gram = 2oz each) come cheaper than go for full pot 8oz. Holiday 2 kit $199 contain: 2oz Concours 2oz Destiny 2oz Atlantique Total price of 3 full pots 8oz $ 2.180: 8oz Full pot Concours $ 175 8oz full pot Destiny $ 647 8oz full pot Atlantique $ 1.358 Simple calculation, 2oz of sample pot was a quarter of full put (8oz), so 1/4 x full pot price $ 2.180 = $ 545. Did I miss anything to make the Holiday 2 Kit look cheaper? I hope someone could correct me if any miscalculate. cheers
It is simple: they have massive profit margins to account for the difference. I don't mind though since I am a wax addict anyway.
Lol, thats why I bought Holiday Kit #2. It was the most cost effective version. Then again, I'm not using it so it might not be as effective as I thought. Thankfully I'm getting out of the collecting phase and might sell it later on Currently have a lightly used pot of Glasur, empty pot of Cream, and a 2oz sample of Vintage. I love Zymol
Zymol is nice. I was into them a while ago, kinda left, and am getting into them again. I have: Glasur Carbon Ital Concours I used Titanium before as well.
Not sure what it is comparable to, but it is a very nice wax. Looks great on Red. I have only used it once so far, since I just got some not long ago. Beads nicely too.
I've got Creme, Glasur, and Vintage. Love the stuff. Glasur is a great bang for the buck wax though if you want to try just one.
The best smelling one's have to be Glasur and Detail. Whenever I open detail I want to get a spoon and eat it because it smells freakin' delicious! Lol
