    Hey Guys,

Howcome we don't have any true Snow Foam in the US? We always have to say things like "Oh this car wash foams up great in a foam cannon" or "If you mix this and that, you'll get great foam."

It seems like the UK and Europe have plenty of snow foams to choose from and if we want it shipped to us in the US, it costs a fortune. Anyone know of any true Snow Foam that is sold in the US or shipped to the US that is reasonable to ship/buy here???

If nobody can think of anything, I'm going to make it myself and sell it! Seriously, not really but I want it.

    Thanks,
    Emile

The cost to ship liquids from the UK here is extremely high without buying pallets of it. Just use a high foaming soap with some of your APC in it.

What type of wash are you trying to use? I've been looking into Clark's work and recommendations a lot, and I think you should try Meg's Hyperwash. I'm pretty sure he uses it on most details and it's safe for LSP. If you want to mix your own, do something like HW and Zep Citrus.

I just like to foam up and rinse my car whenever I wash it every week (during the summer). It removes most of the dirt before I wash it the regular way, which is nice to reduce the chance of scratching the finish.

While there are some nice and foamy car wash soaps, the foam never really dwells for more than a minute or two before it starts to flatten out. Snow foams are supposed to have a much longer dwell time (5-8 minutes).

The foam itself isnt what matters. As long as the product is on the car and wet, it is working to loosen the grit. If you look at Hyperwash as Kyle mentioned, it doesn't foam worth crap but as long as it stays wet, it's working.

Hyperwash and shampoo plus are really good choices for this. I remember another soap I had working just AWESOME, but I can't think of the name at the moment. Ill try to report back if I think of it. A good cleaning soap will do just a job.

Snow foam, is basically soap with a clever ploy, much like other products, to sell :)

I ordered a gallon of Citrus Wash & Clear and a gallon of Glossworkz last night before the DI sale ended, but I don't think that's going to satisfy me. I need to find a good snow foam. I remember adding a couple of ounces of P21S TAW to my foam cannon mixture really increases the foam dwell time but I don't keep P21S TAW on my shelf anymore (only 1Z Blitz).

I have to find something....a real snow foam.

I haven't used it but DP Extreme foam is supposed to work great for this. I have used Adam's soap and that works great

I've gone through a couple of gallons of DP Xtreme and that's a great product but it's $50 a gallon and I just don't want to pay that much. I should be able to find something cheaper.

I'm going to give the Adam's Car Wash a try as I have a couple of 16oz bottles on my shelf. Maybe MS Super Foam is worth a try also.

Thanks Ronnie, let me look into this product. HoneyDew looks like a nice option but I just haven't bothered to pull the trigger yet.

Honeydew and Hyperwash very well for me (HW has a slight lead). I've used Autobrite Magifoam and it worked well, but it's freaking expensive and smells like rotten bananas. Magifoam does cling for dear life though I give it that.
