Gotta give props to Ken on this one as he mentioned it to me. Anyway, I went to do a load of pads today and remembered him saying that he used the citrus wash and a pre-soak for his pads and that it worked really well. So I added about 4-6oz, along with some of their APC and the pads came out REALLY clean.... I also used some with my blue plush mf's and got the same result... so not only is it a great LSP stripper but now I can use it as a mf/pad washer detergent as well! Hopefully ken will confirm this!
Nice, I will have to try that out. If we are talking about other uses, I put some in a spray bottle, 2 oz/24 oz water to use as a spot spray for bugs and other stubborn crud.
i take them to the laundry mat and use the machine with out the agitator I've used as that, and also as a wheel cleaner which works out pretty well too!
oh ok. cool. thanks for the tips. hopefully placing an order with tropi-care next week. love their towels.
Yes I found the TC citrus wash works better than anything else so far for cleaning pads. Seems to break down the polish residue very quickly and rinses clean easily. Highly recommended.
so whats the mixture for the tc wash, and the procedure you use to clean the pads? I have used DP polishing pad rejuvinator from the start and liked it, but would try something else.
I put a couple of squirts for a gallon or two of water, then soak the pads in that. Anymore and I feel as if it takes to much time to get all the cleaner out of the pad. On a side note, I love this Citrus Wash! I've put it in a sprayer bottle and use it as a pre-rinse/lsp stripper and it's great.
