I have seen some people use this on tires, wheels and engines and wanted to know if I need to cut it with water or using it straight would be ok?Thanks.

I try cutting it with H2O and didn't work too well, i always use it full strength. Hope this helps.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone make that correlation.

I always use ARO straight and only on the tires, for the engine bays I use P21S Total Auto Wash.

I've never tried ARO on engine bays though  let alone dilutd with water.

Never diluted and only on the tires. Great product!

mix it with cheap car wash soap, at a 2:1 ratio or 3:1 ratio and it'll foam and stay on the tires if you want to scrub the tires with a brush.

I tried this on an engine, worked pretty well.

I hadnt heard that either..but ARO can be an effective wheel cleaner that is decently safe, whereas Westley's is by no means safe on wheels, in fact avoid contact with wheels..i dont think they are the same product....and per your question..full strength...they have some marketing about how it is activated by water or something, i dont buy into it i just feel it doesnt clean very well when diluted

When I used ARO on the lightswitch at the top of my basement stairs (it sees all the grime from working on the car/yard, etc.) spraying it with water first helped a lot. The crud came off with a swipe.

Wesley's is NOT the same as ARO by any means.

I found that if you mix with water and let it sit for later use it does loose some of it's cleaning power....

This product is "advertised" as being activated once it is introduced with water which is why it states to spray the surface to be cleaned with water and then with ARO...

Not sure if pre-mixing is really responsible for this but either way, from my observations I did see a decrease in cleaning when pre mixed with water.

im still convinced it's the same. I use roll off on our boats and wesley on my car and the smell, color, the how well it works is the same to me. i am convinced it just repackaged. im not saying i know for fact, thats just my opinion.

I decided to give ARO a try on Sunday. Wow!
Let me say....I am very meticulous when it comes to my cars but one thing I avoid like a plague are my inner rims. I avoid it because I get so tired of cleaning the outer with all the brake dust my Benz accumulates.
So I decided to give this stuff a whirl and it made things so easy. I sprayed my rims (full strength) grabbed a brush and BAM it came off like it was nothing. Guys, I hate to say but this stuff is much better than P21s wheel gel. It literally made my rims look like I just bought them. All I can say is wow!

I'm glad you said that. I just got my order ARO in. I tried a small spot of mold and mildew. I think we have a winner...:thumb:
