Although I still have about 1/2 a gallon of Adams Undercarriage Spray left, I was wondering what alternatives there are for it? I strictly use it on wheel wells. I do enjoy the smell it leaves in my garage although I usually spray it on last before I go to bed b/c it is strong! What about the Megs Hyper Dressing? The gallon prices are almost the same but if you dilute the HD 2:1 then it's obviously the better deal? Does anyone use it for wells? Something makes me think JL may, but I don't remember.

I strictly use Megs HD. I've tried Adams Undercarriage spray as I got it for free as a bonus in a trade and I was pretty annoyed with it. With meg's HD (I do 3:1) you spray liberal amounts, and let it drip off, and leave it. I found that with the Adams I had to reapply, sometimes twice. Because it wasn't a uniform shine, it was blotchy. So I wasted about 8oz on a volvo I did a few weeks back. SUPER annoying, and a big waste of product. I only have to apply about 2oz per vehicle with Megs HD and like you said, is dilutable to your liking, or the customers.

I love the Adam's undercarraige spray . I didn't like the sprayer so I replaced it with one that i was able to adjust to a finer mist that allowed for a more even coverage.

I use both Meg's HD and Armor All Tire Foam. Both products work very well for me.

Richy if you are wanting to use it like Undercarriage and just spray it and don't touch it then Megs HD wouldn't be an alternative. Well I'll say that in that from my experience you need to wipe it to get it to look like UC spray. What I use as an alternative and had wonderful results from is I mix MS Mr. Natural with Megs All Season Dressing at 3:1. I really like Megs ASD on its own and the only reason I mixed it was because the Mr. Natural was cheaper. Mr. Natural on its own doesn't give me the same look as Adams UC or Megs ASD so that's why I didn't use it soley. Megs ASD is cheaper and to me looks as good and delivers the same results as Adams UC spray.

How do you guys use UC indoors. I like to spray this somewhat liberally and let it dry on the street. I do give it a wipe after it's had time to set use to make things uniform.

I have a gal jug of HD. Someone or someoneS recommended it as a good alternative but I personally don't like the sheen it gives at 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 on tires. I've been opting to use to on my WW just to use the dang product up. And while it's more uniform and cheap, I tend to reach Adams UC as I like the slightly better longevity more. I did state HD is cheap....but I hate cleaning wheel wells for another application. i spend TOO much time on the wheels already and angst cleaning the WW.....

thanks for the replies, guys. the cg stuff i won't try due to their ridiculous shipping costs unless eshine can hook me up with a gallon for a decent price. I'll have to look at the Megs All Season as an alternative based on cost. I like the results I get with US, I just like using the cheapest alternative that gives the best results.

i use HD 3:1 in the wells and it works great and it's certainly cost efficient. most of Adams products are over-priced IMO...

I comletely agree on all counts...Hyperdressing is your best economical choice...35 bucks for 3 or 4 gallons of undercarriage spray...beats anything i have seen...i only recommended CG because im pretty certain it was the same product..im sure CG was cheaper too..but like you said shipping counters any savings
