Recently completed in the shop, this 2011 M3 is well taken care of but needed correction for the finish. After a few upgrades were installed by my neighbor (Alekshop) it came to me to finish it off. Before installing the new splitter, it needed some light correction. New splitter going on. Front end looking more like it should. Carbon spoiler had sand scratches(Pigtails) so that issue needed correction. Correcting the entire spoiler. Marring on top side of rear bumper. Bumper is know clear and smooth. White finish will hide most of the marring, Black trim does not................ After initial step of compounding out the marring. Rear bumper marring. Now with "The Smoothness". Corrected paint is the foundation, but it is the small details............................. keyhole with dirt. After. AQuartz was requested as the car is a Daily ............ While the first coat was curing this "Bad a** Benz came in for a estimate......................hope to see this car soon SLS Roaster FTW. All finished.
As I was finished this one , I did some light clean up to Aleks 1M, he just put on the Brembo's and was heading to So.Cal for Bimmerfest. M car tightness.
Great work! I think the results are under-appreciated on a white car since the white color hides a lot of the imperfections pretty well.
Client just had the stock forged rims powdercoated, which takes the "Vanilla look" away. He is a Alekshop regular so I think maybe as funds allow there might be some BBS tightness on the car as they are my favorite wheel by far(Have had three sets on my work trucks, RX on my S-Runner, RW on my Tundra and the RGS on my current Tacoma X-Runner). The client is putting on reload like every other week...............at this rate he will need a case from Phil, but he came by McLaren to get something from me when I was over there(As he works @ Apple) and it was on the way to his office............ the car still looks like I did it that day!!! AQuartz is the poo.
