I am new to the detailing scene and have recently purchased a porter cable 7424 and P40 polish from CG's. After claying the car and starting with the polish it has revealed a deeper layer of scratches that I will need to take out. They are not super deep, but a few I can feel with my nail.

Looking for any advice on a good product to remove the scratches. (Car is a 1988 Porsche 928, I believe a one stage paint)

    Thanks,
    Howard

First, awesome car. Those scratches should come out with a polishing compound and a da. Phil at detailer domain will know exactly what you need.

    I love that car.

Thanks Jedi, Yes, I'd found Phil's website and seen some fo the products he has there, so I'll get hold of him to see what he thinks.
