Hey guys, after completly cleaning interior of a vehicle wipe and clean everything with apc, the vehicle is a smokers vehicle going smoke free now, i have sopure to apply to interior do you guys add a extra service charge for this?? the vehicle is a nissan pathfinder with leather interior, i would thinks so and how much??thanks :applause2:
If you paid for the supplies/ consumables, then of course you charge for the service unless you are a super nice guy and like to give stuff away...... NOW, if it was me and someone already had paid me to do a job and I had extra and I am trying to impress someone/ or use it up; then I would Comp the service. Since the existing product has been bought and paid for why not? But if I have to special order it or it is new in my inventory then yes someone is paying for it. If it is just spraying some prouduct in a vent then its no skin off my nose really........ all depends on the context, and the agreement of service you and your client have.
Is the customer aware you are "adding" this or have you offered a package that is basically a de-odorizer/interior detail?
Yes I talked to customer about the product, asked how much extra would it cost to take care of interior. I wanted to know how much would you charge for this service,i have to order the product first. Thanks..
If you discussed the additional charge with the client before starting, then charge him. If its an afterthought on your part, let the client know that you can do it for a small additional fee BEFORE you do it or just do it for free and impress the client.
thanks guys, ordered the product talked to client about the service, she was pleased with the quote,i charged a extra $60.00 for the service, she inplied she would like it done on a 6 month service, not a bad deal..
