This car belongs to a friend of mine and was in extreme need of attention. I have waxed it several times over the last year but this was the time for a full polishing. It was hard to capture the paint condition given the color and the lighting conditions I had. The car had a moderate amount of swirls and some sap that had sat for a lot longer than it should. With the time I had and how much my friend wanted done I opted for a one step approach using P0203 and a DD orange pad via Makita around 1500 rpm. This left the paint pretty much lsp ready which was surprising because I thought it would show that another step was needed. I was thrilled. Enjoy! This is what the car looked like upon arrival Wheels were terrible condition and took some serious scrubbing to get right, I spent almost 20 minutes on each wheel. Arches Wheels after Exhaust Tips After Wash Sap I was not able to get many pictures because of the time frame I had as well as the lighting conditions so I apologize for the lack there of. Clay after hood (this was typical for almost every panel of the car) Clay after trunk lid After correction And the afters, LSP of choice was Pete's 53, damn I love this stuff This isn't brake grim, my friend got total curb rash just a few days before My favorite shot
Very much a shine up bud, looks great. How often do you think he cleans his wheels, bc that was a little nasty..
Well done, nice turn around :thumb: You know pictures do not do all the hard work you put in a detail justise. Wish there was a way to get the same feeling as when your standing infront of the vehicle, looking at it :shead:
