I was called today by a steady client to come and detail one of his new vehicles in his collection, on the phone it was an easy clean up the soot kind of job, when I got there..................I'm going to be busy for awhile. So here are some teaser pics as I will take more as the job unfolds. Befores: More to come................. Cheers, GREG
Okay all you voyeurs... I worked on the vehicle again I am learning so much and loving the challenge. The owner is so cool we are testing some products out on the surfaces, this has to be the largest sample sizes ever. Here are some more photos... The entire surface is covered in a grimy soot, and seems to have speed the oxidation of the paint. I don't know if you can see on the left the grime. I tried all types of cleaners and nothing cleaned it, so start polishing to see. I'm only 1/4 of the way done but felt I had better get a photo op of this bad boy, encase I go postal before the end. The paint is SUPER hard, 105 and wool barely budge it, and its super oxidatated. I hope to take more photos but it takes time and I have a ton of work to do! Cheers, GREG
Nice plane. I have a friend that flys those and he says that they're awesome. He'd wet his pants if I were to show him these pics. lol Can't wait to see it when you're done with it.
Looks great! I did a test spot for my client's plane as well and M105 and wool can barely put a dent into the oxidation with just one application!
