cool story ... I've always wanted to do something similiar. I love driving, but I can't barely go on a 2-hour drive with my little lady ... lol.
I agree it's poorly written. If the guy spent $90K to get over a girlfriend, one would think he'd have more to say about it. Interesting idea though and a great excuse to get a Lamborghini (break up therapy = new Lamborghini). If anyone is looking for a good book about giving it all up to ride, you may consider Neil Peart's Ghost Rider. In Peart's case, his reason for hitting the road was much more than getting dumped and the things he tells about his "ride on the healing road" are more profound. His ride was a BMW motorcycle.
