Well, we're gonna paint the youngest girl's room and I had to remove wallpaper from one wall and a border all the way around. I used the steamer and it was incredible! I worked about a 1' X 1' area and then the scraper just sliced it off like nothing. If anyone needed another reason to buy one...I just keep getting more and more uses out of mine. This is the model I have: Steam cleaner, steam cleaners, steam cleaning, steam vapor cleaners
Wow cool never thought to use the steamer to remove wallpaper, nice one richy :thumb: I have used my steamer to clean my shower and it worked great :thumb:
I have used a steamer to remove wallpaper many times. Get one of those score things that put little holes in the paper and that will help the steam get behind the paper. Also works great on counters and butchers blocks!
Flash...Wow..I see the price has really gone up. It's on the site for $900 now..I got mine for $700 1.5 years ago. Yes, Roger, the Gaia model. It's a steamer/extractor/vacuum all in one. I have been very, very happy with it. Thanks Carlos...I use an old wash mitt and car wash soap to clean mine. That's where I use my water blade too, LOL. My shower is where I test sealants...there's no better place. Some great suggestions there, thanks. Thanks Buddy..it sure did.
:shead: Only $900....Maybe I'll pick up a Matching Set :giggle: Thanks for the Info, that all-n-one is a great selling point. How many HP's/Extractor :help:
steamers also work great for taking off tint. if you do it right and use the steam, no or little glue residue is left behind.
Not cheap, but look at all the posibilities. I wonder if this would be something useful for say, if my dog had an accident on the carpet?
Sure although you would still want to use a really good soap b/c as I'm sure you know, the dog will piss there again if he can still smell it.
