This client called because he said his Challenger (not Charger) just wasn't looking like it should for a new car. I had wanted to do an orange Challenger since they came out so I moved some stuff around and got him in the next day. It showed up all washed and ready to go. It got a quick clay with Automagic Blue and then we were straight into polishing. In the first two pics you can see the light marring. It was worse than it looked as it had been washed at the dealership a few times. Aggghhhhhh!! It was hard to get 50/50s because of the colour but you can see the lights on the right are clearer. Taping this car off was a pain in the A$#!! All the striping etc was matte black so had to be masked off or it would have polished up all nice and shiny. Not the look the owner wanted. Taping took about 1.5 hours. Product shot. After polishing with Power Finish on a Yellow GI pad, I followed up with my newly acquired Scholl S40 on Black CCS. The Scholl left the paint much wetter looking than 85RD. Very impressive. LSP was 2 coats Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger. A few afters for you. Tires were dressed with Gloss-it Tire Gloss. Enjoy. Thanks for looking.
Awesome work. man! Now that's how a new car should look! I'll take that GN in the background, though...hehe.
OMG!! More pics of the Grand National! PLEASE!!!!!! The Challenger looks real nice, BTW..lol..sorry, but a Buick GN is one of my dream cars and I will own one some day.
well shit, if it wasn't for all the detailing products you have been buying.. I bet you could have one now...LOL!!!hahahah
lol..funny guy..one day I'll post pictures of the car collection at my house in NY. 1966 GTO 1971 Firebird 1963 Corvette Stingray The GTO and Firebird are frame off restorations, the Stingray has 2800 original miles.
Ken I don't even like muscle cars but you need to get us pictures of that Grand National!!! That thing looks sick! The detail looks great as well, came out very nicely!
Great work Ken, I have been hearing really nice things about the Shcoll line(dsms) , S-40 produced a wetter look than 85RD? that is impressive will look into this.
Great job as usual and I told you the Scholl stuff was great. I too prefer the S40 to 85rd. The stuff is so easy to work with as well. Love the look of AJT on the orange.
