This car belongs to the same client we recently did the black Porsche turbo cab for. When he dropped it off his instructions were not to go crazy as this was just his shitty weather car. :shakehead: We settled on a protection detail but as you'll see in the pics, once it was washed, it was very apparent it would need a little more loving to make it right.

Jambs, motor and trims cleaned with Exclusive APC at 3:1
Washed with Exclusive soap and Megs washmitt
Wheels cleaned with Griots HD Wheel Cleaner/ Exclusive Wheel Cleaner
Tires and inner fenders cleaned with Exclusive APC used straight
    Clayed with Exclusive Fine Clay
    Decontaminated with Iron X
Single stage polish carried out with PC / B&S Green / Menz Power Finish
    LSP was Exclusive Sealant
Wheels sealed with BF AMS and tires dressed with Exclusive Tire Dressing
Leather cleaned and conditioned with Exclusive Leather betas
Interior glass cleaned with Exclusive glass cleaner
Exterior glass polished with Autoglym Car Glass Polish

    Heavy brake dust build up.

Car was a wee bit on the dirty side. Not surprising as it's his crappy weather car.

Lots of crud was built up in the grills in the hood.

Jambs were dirty, but not too bad.The smaller wheel woolies work great on tight jambs.

Motor looked like it had never been done.

Some swirls and a nice scratch on the rear fender. Hmmmm...... Looks like the protection detail is out the window.

Major crud build up in the trunk jamb.

Trying Griots HD wheel Cleaner. Although it does turn red, it doesn't turn the wheel blood red like Sonax.

Cleaned this rear wheel up nicely.

Another dirty wheel needing some TLC

An 07 Carrera had shown up and was patiently awaiting its turn.

    Wheels looking proper.

Not exactly sure what the hack at the tire shop used to do this, but it obviously wasn't a good idea.

Pillars were quite badly marred. This is them before....

Actually had to remove the hangers to get at the top of the exhaust tip.

Looking better. Sorry for the crappy pic. Take my word for it. It's shiny. Promise.

CF engine cover polished and sealed.

    Some after...enjoy.

It must be nice to have a S65 as a crappy weather car.

"Don't go crazy" = I do not want to pay the proper amount to have you fix the abuse I imparted on my $160,000.00 usd Mercedes................... you bridged the gap Ken nicely between a 4 day correction and what you could do and "Not go crazy". Why have a car like this? in that weather...............the guy is monied up obviously so he needs to "Cowboy the F up and pay" then have you mantain it then he could enjoy the car properly.

"Cheapenowskiness" is disease that needs to wiped out one client at a time.(lol).

I'm sure this is a silly question but, for the 50/50 shots, did you clay the whole car then polish the individual sections, or section it off and clay and polish each section? I assume claying the whole car first.

You made the "crappy weather" car look better than new again! Nice work.

He said that because I just billed him A LOT for his Porsche and he didn't want me to go to that extreme on this. And yes, he is monied up. :)

Clayed the whole car and then the 50/50s were taken as I was working my way around the car with the polisher.

Watch out, the next time he brings the Porsche in, he'll say to just do the same thing that you did to the Merc. :-/

Great job on a hacked DD!

It's funny how even the guys with stupid money won't pay the extra bit they could afford to get everything "achieved".

Think about it. Many of the guys who have stupid money got there by being anal about spending it.

Huge difference Ken, very nice work!

Since the S65 was the guy's beater, you should have used everyone's favorite beater wax: AGHD!!!

    :)
