This writeup differs from most of mine as when I got to the clients it was already clean. I had just QD'd it a week ago ( I wipe it down after EVERY time it goes out) and it hadn't been out since but the owner was putting it away for the season as he had just taken delivery of his Scfeamin' Eagle. He wanted it tiddled up for storage. I just got my new Nikon D60 so took a bunch of pics just playing with the camera.

I started by wiping the bike down again with Poorboys Spray and Gloss
All chrome was polished with Raceglaze Glass and Chrome Polish - a new product from our friends across the pond. Simply wonderful.
All chrome was sealed with Blackfire All Metal Sealant. Using this over the RG GCP leaves the chrome with a deep look, not really shiny.
All paint was finished with Raceglaze 55 - I haven't used this in a while and had forgotten how much I like it.

Thats it, nice and simple. Beautiful way to spend the afternoon.

Has anyone used anything that will safely remove baked on road tar? I tried Tardis and it did nothing. Some lacquer thinner in an inconspicuous area failed to do the job as well.

Great work ken! Man that's a lot of chrome/metal! You read my mind about the 55! I was just going to ask you're thoughts on it since I know you sell it but haven't seen you post about it before

    Again, great job!

I'd forgotten how easy it is to use. I applied it by hand to all the paint and then just wiped it off. No fuss, no streaking, nothing. It actually gave a really wet look to the paint. I will be loading some 1 ounce sample pots up onto the store this week.

How much do you figure 1oz will last? (1-2 cars?)

Wow very cool bike, love the blue :druling:

Tardis didn't remove the grime of the exhaust pipe? :shead: that's odd, I wonder if the heat of the exhaust bonded the grime to it...

What a gorgeous house by the way :woo:

Wow, great pics and nice job on the bike!

Surprised that Tardis didnt take off the black specs, I will guess it has to do with the heat of the pipes. Also, was the metal polish you use a fine abrasive, if not maybe go to a little more abrasive metal polish and see if it could get rid of it or maybe use a 3" pad or something to get some more power behind it.

I would think 2 cars no problem if you get it on thin. I like applying this by hand so I tend to use more than i should.

I figured the heat from the pipe has baked it on as well. Hmmmm.....

Just did it a while ago. Look up 911fanatic vs M5

Whitewalls usually get AG Powermax3 or AG Custom Wheel Cleaner and a stiff brush. They don't ever get too dirty.
