Haven't seen this client in a few years. Maybe we should have. Its a 78 I believe, Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II. The owner used to use it for his daily driver for years until he picked up his Bentley Turbo R a few years ago. He wanted it waxed so his friends daughter could use it for her wedding. All was well until it was washed and dried and we got some lights on it. :yikes: I couldn't just leave it so he got a free single stage polish out of the deal. Washed with RG Aqua Bathe and mitt from Ben Tires and wheels cleaned with AG Powermax3 Polished with Menz Power Finish on a German Green CCS Prewax cleaner was RG as well LSP was RG55 Tires dressed with AG Vinyl & Rubber Care Windows cleaned with AG Fast Glass Leather cleaned and conditioned with RG Cleaner and Balm. Total time - approx 13 hours British car gets British soap from Raceglaze and a British mitt from Ben Some scratches on the hood 50/50 50/50 on trunklid and another Whats a vintage British car without oils spots on the garage floor! Hood shot before and after. Keep in mind the car only got one pass with Power Finish on a German Green CCS pad. Another before and after. Not sure what the owner is washing it with. I'm guessing some sort of gardening tool! RG prewax cleaner on. THe nice thing about this product is you put it on and let it dry then wipe it off. All British products today RG55 applied Some afters amd Bad bodywork... and here. Real Mouton floor mats $$
Wow what a guy, free polish! Nice work on that old beast Ken. I think I would rather drive your Passat to a wedding rather than that car though haha.
Wow..that roller was tough. Reminds me of when my father bought one just like that model for my wedding...19 years ago today (12th). That was a remarkable improvement for one stage, Ken. Way to go!!
Man that paint was pretty bad Ken! It's pretty amazing what Power Finish can do. So did the RG55 fill in the majority of the remaining defects after Power Finish did its work? From the pictures it looks like it did. Great work Ken!
The RG55 did hide a bit, but it gave to paint alot of depth which helped as well. You could still see some defects but nowhere near as bad as before. Funny thing was when I told the owner how scratched up it was, he was suprised!:yikes:
very nice! the P203S works like a charm with just 1 pass! Anyways, do you know what cost the unleveled surface from the paint? Since i saw it in many cars! Thanks Kei
Great work Ken, I've been waiting to see this one. The RG 55 is some great wax. Ha I should have mine in a couple of days...I think Ken knows my credit card # by heart!
Not bad at all for a single pass! Damn nice of you to throw that in! I often get confused when people use a green pad due to the fact that there are 2 different greens out there (both by LC)... Was the one you used more or less aggressive than the LC white? Also, what machine did you use?
