I do this clients Class A 2x a year for him. Last winter was a good test for the two coats of Colli 476 that went on it as we had below 0 temps most of the winter with 2 feet of snow on it as well for much of the time. The first three pics show the beading on a dirty motorhome when I first pulled up. Not bad at all. Here's a short video showing the sheeting action as I washed it down. This is after being foamed with AG Powermax3 as well. Some afters. For the spring and summer, I just put one coat of Colli 845 on but will double up on the 476 again this fall.
Ken that looks great. Dare I ask how long it takes you to work on that thing? I just got a sample of Colli 845 to play with. Will have to try it out on the truck.
Ken..ya I ain't asleep yet, that is one large piece of real estate!! Does that little step stool get you to the top of that beast? I thought the limos took me a long time..how many hours in that thing? How many steps? Talk about eating an elephant one bite at a time.....
I've done enough of these now that I can do a wash(including the roof) and the first coat of wax by hand in about 6-7 hours The second coat of wax takes about 4 hours. All told its about 12 hours. Systems boys. You gotta have systems.
That's a BIG 'OLE BEAUT! Great work Ken . I too have a "system" for wash/wax details. I can get them down to about 2.5 hours including cleaning floormats and conditioning/protecting leather (no deep cleaning thogh). And still keep the "level" I am after.
Looks great Ken! My client's race car trailer looked exactly the same when I used ONR to wash it down. I was able to wash the entire race car trailer (minus the roof) and his Ford F-350 dually in three hours. It definitely helps washing vehicles that are well protected, especially with Collinite. :thumb:
Ken, What can I say. I looks just beautiful and how you work your systems is amazing...You should write a book...So I can have a system too...:thumb:
