This vehicle belongs to a good friend of mine and after seeing the work I’ve been doing he finally told me to detail his vehicle. The timing was perfect, my friend was going on holidays for three weeks and he gave me the keys and left me his baby in my hands. He wanted good products to be used on his vehicle and he got it. 911 Porsche Carrera Interior Process: Vinyl and rubber: I used Meguiars #40, but prior to it I gave the entire vehicle a nice wipe down with Meg’s APC mixed with water 1:1. Carpet: Meguiars APC used it on the carpet. I scrubbed with a brush then extracted it with my shop-vac. Leather: Wolfgang leather care cleaner and conditioner Exterior Process Engine bay: Used P21S Total Auto Wash full strength and dressed with Stoners Trim Shine. Wash: I used Zymol Clear Auto Bathe with two bucket method and the white ShMITT. Clay: The vehicle was in rough shape so I used Red Clay Magic, the vehicle required something with a good bite and this was the clay for it. Polish Wet sand – 2500grit sand paper Menzerna Power Gloss Compound – Metabo – Meguiars Cutting Wool pad – 1500rpm Menzerna 106FF – Metabo – Menzerna White Pad – 1500rpm Menzerna Final Polish II – Metabo – Menzerna Orange Pad – 1500rpm Prepping for wax: Zymol HD cleanse applied by hand and removed by hand Wax: 1 – Coat of Zymol Glasur Glaze Wax applied by hand and removed by hand Rims/wheel wells/Tires: For the rims I used P21S gel formula agitated with my Swissol wheel brush. After rims where cleaned I finished them off first with Zymol HD cleanse and toped off with 1 – Coat of Zymol Glasur Glaze Wax For the wheel wells I used P21S Total Auto Wash full strength Tires and wheel wells were finished off with Stoner Trim Shine Exterior plastic peaces/trim: I used Mothers Back to Black. Glass: Stoners with glass Cobra MF then used Zymol HD cleanse and topped off with 1 – coat of Zymol Glasur Glaze Wax Observations/comments: The Swissol wheel brush is a really handy brush to do the rims with. Makes it easy to get in between the spokes and other areas. Best part is it wasn’t loosing hairs (not falling apart). In addition, the Swissol brush is really handy for the interior vents. Overall the Swissol wheel brush is a worthy tool to recommend, I recommend it. I purchased the Zymol Glausur Glaze Wax just for this vehicle plus others that will be coming and it’s quite the product. Now for pictures: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: After, sorry no before: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Before: After: Using the Swissol Wheel brush: Now for some wet sanding: Now for the taping: Some inside reflection: As always feed back is always welcome (good or bad).
Was this the one on Autogeek before? I remember seeing this great work again! I like how everything looks. The paint, engine bay, the wheels, interior, excellent . I love how the lights on the ceiling ooze over the paint, it looks really slimy and wet .
lol...well kinda lol. This vehicle belongs to my friend that hooked me up with the fire trucks and his a pure business man lol and well has no time to maintain his vehicles but that's where I come in. Yea, this is the same one from AG. My friend told me I should post his Porche in here, so I did. Oh and yea I agree with you this one finished off so well I look at it again and think the same as you...liquid just pure liquid lol. Thanks buddy oh and I might be detailing it again and I know the condition it's in
Oh he was very pleased with it, in fact he came back from his holidays and he didn't want to drive it...a week went by and then he had to take it out for a drive lol. Thanks buddy, if I'm lucky I'll get to see it soon. I can use it when ever I want, exept at the moment he's having to fix one of his rims. He hit a 2x4 on the high way and he wasen't going the speed limit hahahahaha so he damaged one of his rims so it's out of comision for a few days.
Well I haven't looked at it just yet but from speaking with my friend it dosen't sound like it's in good conditions as it should be. I look forward on seeing it again
I hope it's not back to the condition it was before u detailed it well I'm sure the engine bay is still nice and clean!
Oh I hope not, not that I wouldn't mind I would enjoy detailing it again I really like the curves of the Porche, they feel great.
