84 Cadillac with 13,000 original miles.

    Yes, thats right, 13000 miles on this car. Unfortunatly, the few miles it had on it, someone had washed it with a brillo pad. The paint had swirls and rids ALL OVER IT. Got about 95% out, some were just to deep to chase. Spent a total of 28 hours on this mammoth. I think the hood has enough real estate to warrant its own area code!! :D

    Amazingly enough, after washing, the clay hardly picked up ANYTHING on the whole car. This is WG poly clay, after the entire hood. All 500sq ft of it!!

    Was the paint SS or base clear?

    Paint was CC, which was kinda surprising. I figured with the age, and color, it would have been SS.

    I was gonna say it looked like CC... I did an 83 BMW and it was CC... really surprised by that one...

    Man I remember when those came out. You couldn't find a more comfortable way to go down the road. You did a great job on it, congrats!!
