Like the title says this is a 70 Chevelle SS L78 matching numbers car. These cars now bring lots of money when they are in perfect shape. This one has been repainted about 15 years ago and has been detailed a few times since then. The paint has been burned in numerous areas, tons of scratches and the paint started to oxidize. I was asked to bring the paint back to life as best as possible. I brought the paint back but some scratches had to be left behind but all in all the owner was extremely happy. I clayed the paint, wiped it down several times with solvent and then began the paint correction. Products used were my rotary, 105/205/UF, LC Kompressor and flat pads. I could not move the vehicle outside since the water pump had been removed. This is what I had to work with. Now for a few 50/50 shots after 105/kompressor pad. Now for the finished product.
you're right... your picture taking abilities suck!! just kidding... looks great! and you may like this... but I will have access to 5.5" purple pads that are the same foam as the purple kompressor
Thanks, been very busy. Thanks, and I still agree that I suck at taking pics. I do not use the purple Kompressor pad. If I need an orange or stronger cut pad I use wool. Only a few foam pads that I use.
Awesome job Dana, that was a crucial save. Looks like you have been on a roll with this good weather and your details haha
