We worked on this amazing Porsche 996 twin turbo a couple weeks ago. Pushing 600hp to the wheels! The exhaust was nothing short of deafening! Intense to say the least! Here are a just few shots. Quick breakdown on the process used. Wash - ONR Clayed with Sonus clay bar Swirls and defects machine corrected with Menzerna PO85RD 3.02 using Edge (3M) white foam pads. Polishing was performed with Menzerna PO106ff nano polish using Edge (3M) white foam pads. Final polishing with 3M Ultrafina SE with 3M polishing pads. Paint was cleansed with a IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) solution wipe down to remove all filling oils for final inspection. Re-polished a few areas that weren't quite perfect. Before: After: Thanks for looking.
No, the interior and engine weren't touched. The car was heading off to shop to get even larger turbos. It's a sickness!
That it is.... i've already planned my project, and the engine build alone is going to total $10k, thats without turbo(s)..... havent decided what size yet
Wow, those pics look just as good as the Crystal Rock details and it was finished with a 69.99 dollar wax. Just goes to show it is not how much you spend on a LSP but how good of a prep you do that counts. That Black looks awsome. Definitely a very clean crisp deep wet look. I just wish the paint on my Z06 was that level.
hahaha did you notice that the Detaling Gurus page uses pictures taken by Clark from Polished Bliss. Thats creative
WOW always a pleasure to do a black car you just get so much WOW out of it when done right great job.
It could be. It just takes time...lots of time.
It could be. It just takes time...lots of time.
You are not telling me anything. I have done some wet sanding on it but did not make it 100% flat. Still looks much better than it did when it came from the factory. Nice thing about porsches is they come with perfectly flat paint from the factory. The germans know how to paint a car. GM, not so much...
