I was contacted 2 months ago by a man I had met the previous year at a car show to have his 50th anni C5 vette detailed and his swirls corrected. The owner is 91 years old and drives this torch red C5 almost everyday....yes he still gets on it and age hasn't affected his right foot at all. Pics were just fine. Nice write up and results. It looks a lot better now. Hope I'm still around to enjoy driving at 91...
Thanks! Appreciate the compliments guys, 9 hours went into it total, about little over 6 alone went into the paint correction.
One hell of a first post dude!! Car looks great!! Pictures looks good to me too, nothing wrong with the size imo.
looks great! quick question though, do you spray on the lexol and let it sit, or spray and aggitate with a brush?
I spray it on, spread it quickly with my hand since it is a gel-like substance and then immediately begin to agitate. I always take a bucket filled with hot water first and a MF towel and wipe down the seat first to get it pretty damp with hot water. Its difficult to get the Lexol to foam and work up a good lather without enough water. I also have found a brush head to put on the end of my PC that I use so that I am not scrubbing forever, SUV's can get pretty painful scrubbing all the leather by hand, it also cuts down on time ALOT.
