    QEW wash last week
    Z6 wipedown before polishing

Temperature was 50-55°f in the garage (heater assist) and appox 35% humidity.

    Spot polish a few areas:
3M extra cut with purple foam wool/metabo 1500
    SIP/white CCS/Metabo 1500

    Entire car polished with 3M Ultra Fina/blue 3M 8" finishing pad/metabo 1500.

Lusso Revitalizing Creme via Black CCS pad/Metabo 1100

2x of Lusso Oro wax applied by hand with red CCS applicator.

    Notes on products:

3M extra cut with purple foam wool-This will leave some hazing for sure on this BMW paint. But it cut fast thru the 2000 sanding marks. Seems to me that the purple foamed wool gets the paint warmer then other wool pads that I have used. (entire line of edge wool pads)

3M Ultra Fina/blue 3M 8" finishing pad-Just pure heaven for a finishing polish/pad combo. Of course a 6" version of this pad would be better yet, but as you know 3M does not sell them here in the US, just in the UK. The car had some slight marring and it cleaned it up very nice. Nice long working time and minimal dusting. Removal via MF is very easy.

Lusso Revitalizing Creme via black CCS pad- Spread very nice by machine, minimal amount needed for each panel. (2-3 dots on pad) I would apply it to 2-3 panels at a time and had no problem wiping it off with a MF. Appearance-Not much better then the Ultra Fina finish section of the panel, really had to look hard to see the slightly deeper finish.

Lusso Oro wax applied by hand with red CCS applicator- You had me at the smell, very nice coconut oil scent. I applied it very thin using the CCS red applicator. Spreads very easy and only a small amount required. The instructions state to apply it to each panel, wait 60 seconds and then remove. I applied to the entire painted surface of the car, then went back and removed it right away. Removal seemed effortless. I applied 2 coats to ensure adequate coverage.

I like the red CCS applicator pad as the small pockets will hold a little extra product, so when the pad appears to be running low on product, just push the applicaitor down and you have enough to usually finish out a panel.

Here are some after shots, pics where taken at 5pm.

I am going to let the Lusso Oro wax ride on its own w/ QEW or Z7 washes. See what kind of durability I can get from it. I will try to do updates every 2-4 weeks.

Here are the claims from the Manufactor:

I agree with you on the ultrafina, long work time and very small amounts of dust. yes the blue 3m pad along with the 3m bumper pad is a nice combo.

    Update

The car has only been driven about 5-6 times in the last 19 days since I applied the lusso.

I am having issues with the ABS computer in the car, its need to go back to the place that did the overhaul since its still not right. So it will not get driven that much over the next few weeks either.

Anyway here are a few beading shots since it was raining today. Driven about 5 miles total to pick up our daughter at school.

Final update from today Feb 26th

It has been 52 days total since I applied 2x of Lusso wax.

Car has not been washed in the last 3 weeks. It has been driven more then during the first review period. (5-6 times in the first 19 days.)

On the 9-11th of Feb, the car sat outside at the airport. Then a few days later it sat outside here at the house for 24 hours while it rained. (yes it rains sometimes here in GA.) :D

So today I did the following:
Rinsed car off with pressure washer.
    Foamed with DG 901.
Cleaned tires and wells with AM Red hot APC 1:4
    Cleaned wheels with PB SnR.
    Rinsed off everything with PW.
Refoamed car and did a 2 bucket wash with DG901.
    Dried car with WW towels.

What I discovered is that after the wash, there was very little beading on the horz. surfaces. I took this video while I used the hose (no PW) to see if I could get any beading.

Here are a few pics as well:

The vert panels still have some beading.

After drying, here is how the car looked:

Today I will apply some Z8 to the car untill I have time to get another LSP on the car next week.

PB SnR? (for the noob) does it give more of a matte finish?
