    ok guys,

went to a customers house today to do two SUV's. one of them was covered in over spray from the house next door that got painted (spray type assuming) and the red SUV had little white spots all over the place.

I hit the window with a little 3M adhesive remover and the stuff popped right off. was just like "huh" and started doing this to the left panel to see if it would come off just as easy and sure enough I ended up doing the entire car with just a costco towel and 3m adhesive. then I washed it using the technique I am trying to perfect and waxed using power lock and they said it has never "ever" looked better.

so my question is what do you guys do in this situation? I know some of you just use a lube with clay bar but the 3m was so damn effective I cant see doing it any other way unless the pay is fresh (this was over a year old) and hitting it with the optima steamer to remove it even faster

any feedback on techniques you guys use for removing over spray? how much do you charge for this? the whole car was covered in it.

  2. As long as your customer was satisfied with the results, then it sounds like you both won

Question... was the paint "just clayed" smooth to the touch after you hit it w/ 3MAR?

this car had not been detailed at all in its 15 years. and yes, the car paing was nice and smooth but not like it was clayed, that is much smoother. this was more like all the little bumps and major crud on the paint had been taken off but it still could have used a clay but he was not into it. he just wanted a wash and wax.

thanks again guys. this looks like the method I am going to start using for all over spray removal as it was extremely effective and very fast.
