Got a call to do this 350z today. I got my zymol creame from Micheal today (dust 2 glory) and it was perfect for this silver car.

    wash- dp 4-1

    clay- clay magic

polish- system one x3 and white edge pad

wax- zymol creame by hand (worked better like this :) )

got some pics of my in action....

Scott..nice job man! I had the pleasure of doing a black one and a black cherry one last summer. They are very nice to detail. You really appreciate the car's lines when you are claying it. Although hand rubbing the zymol looked like it was fun. I love that house in the background..especially the fence around it. That neighbourhood could probably keep you busy I'm sure..gotta be some nice bimmers and such tucked away in there.

Great job on the car and the pictures!
Really like the polishing pictures! Man, you were doing some serious concentrating while you were polishing.

:eek:mg:WOW! That paint looks like art work! So deep and glossy, that's what I'm talking about......That is above the top....

I have the same rotary you have..LOL...Let me ask setting 1 is 500 rpm 2 is 1000 3 is 1500 do you find this correct? When I first got mine I played with it at 1, I was like my PC can do same amount of correction... went up to 2 and 3 now we are talking...

Vehicle looks great, I agree wicked houses :druling: better not let the wife see these pictures she might get ideas :shakehead:

The vehicle has a very nice reflection to it well done :applause: and as always lovely pictures.

A few questions, how do you like working with those large pads? I personaly don't like them but once you get the hang of them they work well. Who was taking pictures? Tripod? Did you use your flash on some of the pictures?

So how much correction did System One do? I mean what were you up agains? Just curious that's all.

Thank you for sharing with us :peace:

I really dont mind working with the large pads if i dont have to do alot of correcting. i will use smaller pads if i am cutting. i just used the white pad with system one because this guy is anal about his car and it was pretty much swirl free...i had the camera on a tripod for the ones of me..and flash was used on a couple of them. but system one does really good correction..i just needed a little bit of correcting to get the faint swirls out and system one and the white pad did just the trick

 I can understand why you used the large pads this time around then considering you were only doing light correction :thumb: one nice thing about the larger pads is that they cover a larger surface area...but I still don't like them :lala: :lala:

Oh one more question, what setting were you using on the camera? You knew that question was coming :baby:
