So yesterday i washed and waxed my DD convertible and wanted to try some 303 aerospace protectant on the vinyl top so i applied some with a applicator pad and it looked like it dried pretty nice around 330PM. i then drove it home and it was sitting outside till the next morning (around 15 hours later). i had a layer of mist/dew on everything and drove to work like normal. now i have spots all on the back of my car and i think it could be from the oils from the 303 and the dew rolling off the top and onto the paint. will it continue to do that if i take a QD and wipe off the spots when i get home? should i rewash the top and try to get the rest of the 303 off? was 303 a bad choice for my convertible top? should it have dried longer? btw i have 2 layers of AG HD on the paint and have used the ragtopp the last few times with no problems.

I used to have a 'vert. I applied 303 with a MF app, let it dry for 20 minutes, then briskly and lightly buffed the top with a lint-free mf towel.

    never had problems like yours.

the qd should be ok to take the spots off the paint.

Slanguage is right. The best way to work with 303 aerospace is to apply it then lightly buff it after awhile. This will help prevent that problem you have had.
