Repost from another forum - didn't see it here so I thought I'd share. "The record got broken again by yet another Ford GT at the Miami Mile! This time by a John Mihovetz built 331ci twin turbo mod motor making 1835 on the rollers at 37 PSI. Record run was using 41 PSI, and they are talking about adding more power for the Texas Mile in October. 4 second 60 ft. LOL Thing hauls after that though:" YouTube - 266 MPH: Hofman Motorsports & Heffner Performance Twin Turbo Ford GT - Exotics Rally 4-25-2010 YouTube - Ray Hofman testing
wow sickness. They need to figure how to get all that power to the ground. In the first video you can see how slow they need to ease into the throttle otherwise that thing will probably break loose the rear end and just spin tires. second video sounds so sick! turbo's . . . . . . simply amazing. Nuff said LoL
here's the old record of 246.2mph in car. (boost logic supra) gives you an idea of how mental these cars are. sounds like the car spins through third gear. Keep in mind they have slicks on too!! YouTube - Boost Logic Supra Texas Mile record 246.2 mph
