Completed recently, this beautiful 458 Spider had some of the fewest defects of any 458 I have done to date so maybe there is hope in Maranello in the paint department. But fewest does not mean none so correction where applicable and ultra high refinement to make this Exotic Italian machine look it's best.

As film was being applied outside of the shop(Win some, lose some......) I prepped the areas to be wrapped for the best aesthetic possible, removing the factory clearfilm.

    Uh oh............. not good.

Worked the defect by hand, as this was deep damage and had to be careful not to go through.

Cool looking carbon bits unfortunately had some sand scratches.

    Looking much better.

Front end prepped for film, these two pics would be the best sun pics I would get as it rained on and off during the week of the work.

Area above the drivers door handle needed some attention.

Working the tight areas of the engine decklid.

Corrected the tips before I started work on the rear bumper.

Blueing crustiness on the right, cleaness on the left.

    Two out of three down.......

As stated, very few factory defects but Ferrari saved me some fun.

After correction and polishing, I brought the car out on the containment mat for cleaning of the wheels and wheel wells as it was raining hard when the car came back from being wrapped.

    Satin look .

    Polishing dust and some dirt.

    All better.

    Wheels dialed in.

    No sun.........

Even without sun, tightness in evidence.
