2013 silverado Opti-coat 2.0

    This truck had some water spots but other than that it just needed a good polishing.



    Washed

    Clayed

    polished m205 white pad

    Topped off with opti-coat 2.0

    Great job! Did you do an IPA wipe down after 205? Only reason I ask is 205 as a ton of polishing oils.

    Yes i did 15% IPA 2 times. What other product would you suggest for a wipe down? The IPA seams to drag on the clear coat i am so afraid of marring the paint.

    Quite a few companies make coating paint prep polishes now. If you use Optimum polishes you do not need an IPA wipe down, I believe the same holds true for HD too.
