Finally put my hands on the next gen Boxster and I was impressed with the car's fit & finish(As it should be better with the higher price tag) and the performance from what I have read has significantly improved. A couple of pics of dirty wheels, but other than that this was the least molested "New car" I have done in my memory so the order of the day was refinement/protection. Same wheel after a little TLC. The finish required only a one step, much improved paint on this car just like the 991's completed recently. Next job lurking............ gorgeous R8 Spyder. After the finish was handled I applied Sonax Net Shield which I really like and after it has been on the car for a while the appearance is much like a coating with real deep gloss. Cannot believe how easy this stuff is to use. Pretty much the only part of the car in need of real correction, crusty tips. Starting the polishing steps. Getting there. One down, another to go. All dialed in. Cleaning of the interior. Attending to areas that are not usually seen. Removing dirt trapped during the final wipedown in the third brake light.
After all the trim and paint was buttoned up, took a beading shot. Finish looking great. "Final, final..........on the convertible top. A few sun pics.
From what I have heard 5-6 months with proper washing, this product based upon the beading I see is "Coating like" . This stuff you literally wipe on and off panel by panel.
Great work Bob I wish I could find a shop like you have in my area there are no buildings like yours by me.
