Recently completed, brand new M5 in for some light defect removal and exterior protection(Daily driver). Tires with dirt/old dressing build up. Clean shop towel before stripping the tires. Not so clean towel after first pass. Fine brush work to remove the build up along the bead area. Tire is now ready to be dressed properly. Client had taken delivery a week previous to the detail appointment, and picked up a undetermined sticky substance on all the lower areas of the car. Took a little effort but I removed the substance. Rockers were hit too. Removed. B pillar on the drivers side had deep scratches......................"But it's a new car................what could you possibly have to do to it?". Careful correction as pillars do not have much clear on them to work with. Light correction step. Used some Sonax metal polish I picked up @ SEMA, left a very nice finish on the tips. All done, time for beauty pics. F-10 M5 looking it's best.
Thanks George........................ PM me the e-mail........................with the quickness................
Wicked...your next car Bob? Hehe How is the Sonax metal polish? I assume it's more of a "paste" consistency due to the way it's packaged compared to optimum metal polish which is liquid consistency. Does it work well on heavily soiled exhaust tips covered in soot?
Looks great, Bob! Question, why don't you clean wheels outside during the decon. stage? Always wondered why.
