Track use modified GTRS Porsche had been the victim of detailing with incorrect methods, the client was very frustrated with the condition of the finish even after "Detailing". First pics are of the clearfilm prep as the car was going to be wrapped. The finish looked as if the someone compounded it and then gave up from that point on. "Like -new" clarity being restored once again. Vehicle dropped @ Premier for film. Wing was removed, top of the decklid was in awful shape. Creating a 50/50 pic. As bad as you want......................... thank goodness there was enough clear to work with. Daniel working the other side of the decklid. While the wing was off........................... makes it slightly easier to correct the underside. Hazy scoured paint. Working out the defects. Time to correct the topside of the wing, haze & marring. Total microns were high, but the number that counts is the top one........................ caution was carried out. More 50/50 shots during compounding stage. Removable Momo steering wheel, suspension, cage, Recaro racing seat ,flash, exhaust...........................Bad a** Sharkwerks track B**ch ready to KATN. Daniel handling distilled water wipedown.
As we were losing sun, I wanted exterior pics. Brought back into the shop so we could work more on the "All business" interior. I usually source Emily @ Sharkwerks(Elf girl...) to clean the glass in Porsches with cages as I am NOT fitting back there, Daniel "Cowboy'd up" and did his best. I gave it a shot..........failNESS. Ready for delivery.
:worship2: Awesome save Daniel and Bob! I can't remember who's car that is but wow is was in awful shape. icture::applause2:
As much as I love it and you know GT3s have my heart.....in for pics of the beauty in the distance.....
Ok well I'm a closet GT3 lover with an attachment to the M. I will accept my new name. lol. Mark will be my alter ego.
Awesome work Bob/Daniel! The paint was so dull looking you'd think they had hit it with 5000 grit paper and stopped! :shead:
