Quick new car prep for a Matte Black Exige S, different techniques needed to be applied as this finish doing any polishing is a no no........... . The factory has put on a "Rubber infused finish and actually recommends using "Armour All" so as I did not want to chase streaking all day I did not use "Silicons" in a bottle and used my dressing which worked really nice.

    Dirty wheels and car.

Getting started with a careful wash, Sonax FE applied to the matte finish wheels (Conventional matte paint not rubber infused).

Trim was not looking it's best.

Crud on the trim cleaned away.

    Much better.

Even though I could not polish I was getting a 50/50 pic ..................

Nice work Bob! What product did you use to "de-gunk" the trim around the windows?

Nice job Bob, thank god my client with his lotus just upgrade to a 1M. Interior cleaning is meant only for Gumby.

Nice one Bob! I have a customer with one of these and when I saw that they gave Armor All to dress the car with I blurted out a huge "WTF???" I used it at the owner's request, but it was a b1tch to get an even look from it. What dressing did you use?

I was pretty taken aback by the dressing idea too. I know Black Wow is supposed to have a cold distilled water wipedown after application, maybe that would help in your situation if you run into the same customer again.

I almost feel like someone should post a link to the OTHER thread.

Great work Bob. That is a sick little car. And Bryan, even though I'm a huge BMW fan, in no way is a 1M an upgrade over a Lotus! I'll take a Toyota engine in that little go-kart any day.

Its an upgrade for me. Performance wise I wouldn't have any idea, I am not a car nut, as strange as that sounds.
