Hello DB! I had the pleasure of spending a day with this brand new Porsche 911 GT2 RS limited edition model. The car only has 1,500 miles on it as the owner has only recently picked her up. Knowing the extremely low mileage I performed a simple one-step polish to remove the fine hairline scratches that were present from improper washing from the dealership. Following the light correction I applied Power Lock for a durable layer of protection. Only 500 of these "limited edition" models were made, 149 of the 500 were allowed to be sold in the U.S. This car was an absolute joy to work on as was doing business with the owner, truly a great guy and a car enthusiast at heart! good lord, that car.....awesome job, question....where do you detail? seems this and a couple of those audi threads were all the same spot...do you have a shop?
Nope, no shop although that would be a dream. This location along with the other few details I have posted here are at a corporate location. Besides my mobile business which supplies the majority of my clientele, once or twice a week I will travel to this center which offers my services to its employees and their clients. I have established an excellent relationship with a few people there who are also my clients as well. It's a win win for their employees and clients! Thanks very much for looking and commenting!
Sick car and great work Dan. Hard to tell but you look decently young in the reflections (as do a lot of ppl on DB). How do your clients handle it when they see you are "so young"? How do you respond?
Yes, I am a Junior in college so I guess you could say I'm still "young." I've only had one client be uneasy at how young I am upon delivery of the car......the rest are all shocked or really interested in how I started my business, how I got into detailing etc. Usually within the first couple minutes of talking over the various services I offer or when I am explaining to the client what exactly was done to their vehicle they are impressed. I'm very passionate about my detailing and like they say your hard work and skills shine through your work! Thanks again for the compliment and the view!
Outstanding work! Thanks for putting this up. I have a question, Does the carbon fiber bonnet resist stone chips? I tried finding chips in the pictures and couldn't find any. Those cars are stone chip magnets, no matter how you drive it. thanks again. I really enjoyed that. JD
JD- The car only came to me with 1,500 miles on it and still the CF hood was in mint shape, no signs of rock chips or any other damage besides the nice bird bomb for good luck. However, the front splitter was scraped here and there (what can you do) due to its insanely low ride height and every Porsche i've done the front bumper always looks like its been sandblasted by the time it hits 35K. If I have the chance of working on this clients car again (fingers crossed) then I will check to see how the bonnet has held up! Thanks for looking! =)
