The owner had recently had the wheels painted and asked me only to use soap and water to clean them. Included cleaning the calipers with the wheels on the car this step alone took me over and hour and half to complete.

The exhaust tips had a coating of heavy black with soot.

The front fascia and lower rocker panels sprayed with Chemical Guys bug and tar remover and allowed to sit for a few minutes. The car was then foamed for the pre wash. Then hand washed with CG maxi studs. Exhaust tips and wheel wells scrubbed with Optimum Power Clean. The engine compartment was allowed sprayed down with and scrubbed with Power Clean.

All badges and grills cleaned with various brushes.

After drying Car Pro’s Iron X was used to remove the heavy contamination. The product was allowed to dwell for approximately 5 minutes while it turned purple as it pulled the contamination out of the paint. Final contaminates removed with a speedy prep towel in lieu of a traditional clay bar.

Under the lights slight swirls, wash marring, and random deeper scratches present.

Correction on the hood, roof, and trunk deck lid required the most correction. That was carried out with a Flex 3401 with Meguiars #105 on a cyan pad and finished with Meguiars #205 on a Tangerine pad. The rest of the correction with was done with a G110 V2, microfiber pads, and Meguiars D300.

The car was then hand washed again to remove any polishing dust.

Blackfire Wet Diamond was then applied and allowed to cure overnight.

Day 2 started with 2 coats of Autoglym HD wax.

Then it was time to get started on the dirty exhaust tips. #000 steel wool and Surf City Garage’s Killer Chrome was used to remove the heavy soot. I then went back over the tips with Killer Chrome on a gold finger pocket to refine the finish.

The engine compartment treated with Chemical Guys Back to Black.

The final steps included wheels wells treated with CG bare bones, Optimum Opti-Bond on the tires, windows cleaned and carpets vacuumed, dash wiped down, and 1Z Gummi Pledge applied to door and trunk seals. Final wiped down of the car was done with CG V7.

AGHD............... FTW. You could have lied and said you used a "high end" wax and I guarantee you nobody would have known the wiser.

those tips are incredible, outstanding work
