So last Friday we got the call from Lambo of Denver that they wanted us to Detail their new LP560 for the unavailing this Saturday. So we jumped in the truck and hooked up the trailer and headed down to pick up the car. Got her all loaded up and back to the shop. Got her unloaded and into the shop. The sun was not out so i could not get any good full sun before pictures. I can tell you this though this car was trashed and it was fresh off the boat. We could not believe they come this bad from the factory. So here are some before pictures once we pulled it into the detail bay. Now for the afters Now for some full sun after shots Back to Lambo of Denver And a great reflection shot of my boss putting on the finishing touches of the polishing We both polished it at the same time we were in a bit of a time crunch.
Sweet Ride, That Quad black is 1 of my favorites 4 sure. :shead: I guess I'll never get over the way even the Top Manufactures of cars let them pass a final inspection. You guys did a magnificent job :applause:
We were actually taken back at how bad it was. It looked like spots were wet sanded with 60 grit sand paper. Also if you looked at the paint sideways it would scratch. If you put ANY weight on the MF when removing the polish you would put swirls right back in the paint.
Excellent work! Two questions: 1. Do you pick up cars like this in your own enclosed trailer, take them to where you work on them, and bring them back? If so, my hat is off to you. That's a great service. 2. Was that the way the car looked as delivered from the factory? If so...WOW. That's really, really bad. I would have guessed that some of the Audi quality control procedures would have taken hold at the Lamborghini factory, but perhaps not...
excellent turn around! :applause2: whats with the rag tops on lambos? you'd think they'd look so much better for the cost of em!
1. Yes. If the customer wants us to pick it up we will. This car was new and for sale so it only had 14 miles on it. The detail shop i work for also owns a transportation company (single car trailer), a auto appraisal company and a exotic car rental company. So we try to combine as many services as possible. 2. Yep this is how the dealer received it from the factory. Which is why he called us. The LSP was Pinnacle Souviron
Well done, vehicle looks great...more pictures would of been fun though  Just teasing :giggle:, thank you for sharing. By the way, do any of you have any ides how expensive it is to maintain these vehicles. I've been probing around asking for maintenance quotes, you know average price to maintain the vehicle per year and I was surprised to hear that Lambos are more expensive to maintain then a Ferrari :shead: I thought it would be the other way around, but apparently Lambos parts are 10x more expensive then Ferrari
Oh just shopping around, but I'm a huge Ferrari fanatic....that prancing pony does it to me :druling: :druling: and it doesn't help that I've been hanging around the track with some exotics and riding shut gun :wall:
Yep, $2,000 oil changes are a bit ridicalous :yikes: Find a mid 80's 308, there easy to work on yourself:headbang:
mmmm...no not quite that old, I've got my eye on a few F430's if things go well I'll have one of my dream cars some time soon...but that is if all goes well, it's allot of money for the prancing horse so I'm really curious if I'll be able to hand over the cheque aranoia: Who knows, for now just window shopping
Wow, F430 huh :shead: If you don't mind me asking......What line of work r you in, or are you just independently wealthy?
Hahaha wealthy, no not at all. I'm in Engineering, I've worked very hard for every penny and I've been fortunate that I have been able to invest my money well. I own several business' as well, I work hard and anything to get my family a head in life I'm willing to bust my rear end on...it all comes down to scarifies, you can have everything you wish for...you just have to be willing to scarifies something for it. I learned that the hard way. So no, I'm not wealthy, or come form a family that's wealthy. But I come from a hard working family and have learned to spend my money wisely that's all.
I can relate^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^When I first started checking out these detailing sites I just assumed everyone did this for a living, boy was I wrong.:duh: :applause2:Congradulations on all your hard work and accomplicments, if you can pay cash for your new toy and it won't effect your familys lifestyle then I'm all 4 it.opcorn:
 I agree family comes first if there is money left I'd love to get my prancing horse but family needs to be completely, 100% taken care of so far so good but it's always good to have slush funds for those unforeseen emergencies. Not to mention I'd need to make sure I have enough funds to maintain the vehicle and it's one thing to afford the vehicle it's another to maintain it  Sorry for taking this thread so off topic :sorry: I'm so bad at doing this :sorry: But I was just trying to say Lambos are a different bread in the exotic world, great to look at though and love the nice, sexy lines the Lambos have :druling:
Damn Nica, MUCH respect to you. It's good to see well off people with some common sense and excellent morals. Hats off to you.
