    Here's a 2009 Acura TSX in dark grey metallic that came in for some scratch removal.

    Highlights:


    • Deep scratches on door panels
    • Someone keyed the rear quarter panel
    • Baked in hard water spotting
    • Moderate swirling

    The car received:

    Decon Wash/Strip

    • Adam's Car Shampoo w/ Adam's All Purpose Cleaner
    • Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner
    • Stoner's Tarminator

    Full paint correction
    • GG6 - with new backing plate! :) w/ Meg's MF5.5/D300 and 3401 w/Uber Green & Menz. SF4000
    • GG6 w/ Surbuf 5.5 and M105 for deeper scratches

    Other

    • Tires & Trim: Carpro PERL
    • LSP: MPL with GG6/Uber Black 5.5
    • Engine Bay: Adams Waterless Wash, SuperVRT, In and Out Spray

    Clean and Dress Interior

    • Adam's Leather & Interior Cleaner
    • Adam's Leather Conditioner
    • Adam's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner, diluted 4:1 via Extractor
    • 1Z Einszett Deep Plastic Cleaner

    As it has been raining all weekend here, I was unable to get any finished outside pics, sorry.


    Lessons learned:
    Most Japanese car factory paints are pretty darn soft, this is no exception.
    Carpro Perl looks sooo incredible, especially when layered.

    The car looks great. Did you use the perl on the engine compartment too?

    No, engine bay was Adams Waterless Wash wipe down followed by their SuperVRT and their In and Out Spray.
