Good evening, This vehicle belongs to the gentleman with the Ford GT and the Mercedes-Benz S63. Unlike these two vehicles, this GL is the true workhorse of the family. It's got a smidge over 20K miles on it and has never been waxed. Sits outsite quite a bit and has only seen automatic car washes. I'm giving it a full detail in a few weeks (it really needs a heavy polishing) but the owner just wanted it washed and sealed for now. 1) Foam with Citrus Wash 'n Gloss 2) Wash with Citrus Wash 'n Gloss and ShMITT 3) Megs Multi Piece on the wheels, with variety of Black Magic brushes to get them clean 4) Dried with CG Waffle Weave 5) Zaino Z1 6) Zaino Z5 7) Zaino Z2 Pro - Black Magic Titanium Gel topped with Poorboys Natural Look on tires - 1Z Cockpit Premium on all outside plastic pieces and all interior plastic pieces - Adam's Undercarriage Spray on wheel wells - Stoner's IG on windows - CG Pro Detailer on wheels Anyways, here some pics... BEFORE --------- AFTER -------- :bla2:
Nice  look forward to the paint correction detail :thumb: Question, in your opinion how durable is Zaino P1et? Just wondering that's all.
Thanks! You cannot really see it in these pictures, but the Z5 hid a LOT of swirls. I was quite amazed, really. Up close you could still see them, but like I said, I'll be putting some Menzerna to the paint soon. As far as durability goes, I can see a good 4-5 months out of it. I cannot really say exactly how long because I tend to put new layers on (when I had it on my own truck) every month or so. I have not used it myself, but I'd say it's on par with DG products. I have tried many products over the past two years and the Zaino is still on top as far as durability goes.
Thanks for sharing on the info on the Zaino, I'm thiking of trying out Zaino on a fire truck...but not completely sold on it...the customer fell love with the the apperance of DG and I was told to only use DG but I should give Zaino a shot, will see though.
Great job again mate! I'm telling you, you are really pushing the buttons on making me want to try some Zaino.
Very good work as always Piet! The car came out, I am very tempted to try Zaino. I need to get some input from you
Please tell me you didn't use the Sheit you got from Big Lots on these tires!! If it's anything like the Black Magic High Gloss tire gel I see fling central in the near future! I do like that sick wet shine though :tiptoe:
very nice there piety!!! awesome job on the car... but if you're going to be doing a full paint correction soon, why go through all the trouble of sealing it??
Yep, that's the "shite" from Big Lots. I bought it the other day and was sceptical, so I just used it on my own tires for a good week first. The stuff look superwet and I thought for sure it would sling all over the place. Nope, couldn't find a single bit of it. So I put it on the Mercedes and topped it with Natural Look to even it out. Looked fantastic. Because the customer paid for it, hahahaha!
Wow P1et, another get job from you. After reading your write ups it makes me want to start using my zaino again. Do you apply it with the PC or by hand? Great job and seems that you made good client.:headbang:
Thanks again boys! I always apply my Zaino by hand because you use SO little of it. I feel like I would waste a lot of it if I woud apply with a PC...
