Well I must have done something right, you guys remember the Escalade I detailed last week well the owner of that Escalade also owns this vehicle. This time around this vehicle was booked for a full interior and a simple wash and seal for the exterior, here is the vehicle as it was delivered to me:  another set of HRE :thumb: Engine bay was in reasonable shape, but it was in need of a good cleansing. Well like all interiors I remove all personal belongings place them inside a bag and first thing is a thorough vacuum: While I vacuumed I got the steamer ready to be used…boy it’s been a wile since I’ve used the steamer I mean it was all dusty, here let me show you: Moving on, once I was done vacuuming the interior I proceeded to steam the interior. Steaming the interior didn’t take long but it sure made quick work of the grime, dust and dirt. Once done steaming it was time to dress the interior, this time around I decided to go with a dressing I haven’t used for a wile: Boy I had forgotten how good this stuff works…but I had also forgotten how bad it smells  But the end results are worth the smell. This was applied with a micro fiber towel of course. Well that completes the interior, went rather quick if you ask me but oh well  Now for the exterior, like always shoes first, gathered all the tools for the task: Red P21S Gel was used for the rims, Meg’s APC was used on tires and wheel wells. All scrubbed with various brushes and here is how all that scrubbing looked like at the end: This process was carried out to all the rims, tires and wheel wells. Once the shoes of the vehicle were taken care of it was time to concentrate on the rest….like the engine bay. First I covered some areas then sprayed the entire engine bay with P21S Total Auto Wash: Love the smell of P21S Total Auto Wash so I decided to cover the entire vehicle with it: Besides I wanted to make sure I removed all previous LSP :thumb: Well vehicle was washed with the two bucket method, rinsed then dried. Next it was time to protect the paint, for this I went with my reliable protection Duragloss 601 followed up with 105. The rims and door jams also received a coat of Duragloss. Well vehicle is almost done, just a few more little bits to finish of like the exhaust tips were finished off with Autosol. Windows were done with Stoners Invisible Glass and a glass microfiber towel, engine bay was dressed with 303 tires were dressed with Optimum Tyre…boy I can’t seem to finish this stuff off, I’d like to dry another dressing but I still have half a gallon  well that about completes this vehicle, here are the end results: Always love how 303 finishes off in the engine bay compartment :thumb: I don't know about you guys but are you detecting a pattern with the HRE  I sure am  mans got great taste on rims :woo: Well that concludes this detail hope you enjoyed it, I’ll be seeing this vehicle soon as it needs a bit more pampering.
Great job on the car. Love the wheels, and yes he does have some great taste in wheels and some LARGE pockets haha. Side note, every time i see this, :woo:, it reminds me of how I feel when I get a package in the mail, haha. Have you used DG #111? Is there much difference between 111 and 105 in terms of looks and durability?
I enjoy doing engine bays, it's a spot that gets missed but is so rewarding not to mention important to the vehicle  Thank you for the feed back, glad you enjoyed it eace: I agree great taste comes with great price :giggle: You'd be amazed at his car collection, in time I'll be seeing all his vehicles along with all his most resent purchases :cheerl: As for the DG 111 vs 105 to be honest I haven't used 111. I've been using 601 and 105 combo for quite a bit now and it's a great combo, don't need to use anything else...so far that is. I like look for the 601 and 105 combo, very, very shiny :afro:
Yea...different taste I suppose  But you know the more Vette's I detail the more I appreciate them you should see the other Vette this guy has....Twin Turbo Vette :worship2: :worship2: hopefully I'll detail that one shortly. That Vette is a beast, he said he'll take me for a ride one of these days, I hope so I'd love to ride and see how twin turbos feel :thumb:
Great work on this, Carlos! Did you say you still have 1/2 gallon of Optimum Tire Dressing? That's gonna last a while...even though you have it, get some Tropi-Care tire dressing, this stuff is the best!!! In both terms of look and durability!
Looks great Carlos!!! Why no nuba though? I started with a half gallon of opt tire dressing, me and Pektel split some up cause a gallon is a ton!! I'm thinking tropicare next round..
 I've been trying to use Optimum up but it just wont go away lol...all in due time I'll eventually try new dressings but for now I'll just keep using Optimum till it's all gone  Nuba...don't really need it, DG 601 followed up with 105 is shiny enough (in my opinion that is) and as far as durability...this combo is shockingly durable so in my opinion no need for a nuba..but that's just me...I did try on one vehicle the following combo DG 601, 105 finished of with 845...I'm very curious how this combo will hold out, but for the most part the DG products hold up quite well on their own  Glad you enjoyed it, I agree very nice rims :worship2: Always happy to share eace:  sure does, hopefully in time I'll see all his vehicles plus his latest additions :thumb: Thank you guys for the feed back glad you enjoyed it and yes engine bay turned out great, owner loves a good looking engine bay :thumb:
Very nice Nica! :applause2: Looking forward to you doing the paint correction on this one. :chips: I'm not familiar with the interior dressing you chose for this project. Could you give me some info about it? Thanks for sharing your work with us. icture: :thumb:
Excellent work as always Nica. The owner sure does have good taste in wheels. Man's got deep pockets. ps: I hate to see people that can wash their cars inside the garage (*LOL* I'm just jealous) Tim
 me too, the vehicle can look much better :thumb: As for the dressing I used, well it's comes from Optimum and I actually like the dressing just don't like the smell. It smells...like...like...um...well...like someone passed gas, not as strong Red P21S Gel but close. The smell goes away so it's not like as though it lingers in the interior but it really leaves a mate finish, absolutely no shine what's so ever...really neat...definitely not like 303, in my opinion 303 adds a little bit of shine, not much and I always give the panels a final wipe down anyways, but with Optimum no need for a wipe down, you just apply and a way you go :thumb: I agree, wicked taste :thumb: As for washing the vehicle inside the garage, thanks to the floor coating I installed inside the garage it makes it easy cleaning the floor and best part nothing sticks to the floor a quick rinse and she's clean :thumb:
