I haven't really been taking pics of my work lately, but guess I need to start again. Here is one I did today... Picked up a new bi-weekly client today with an 07 Vette and I think an 07 Chevy Pickem up truck. Wash and waxes. Didn't do the truck today, just the Vette. Pics- Didn't want it pressure washed, so I took the tip off and let the water flow over the car. Applied Collinite #885. Rims cleaned with Megs Wheel brightener. Tires cleaned with Purple Power cut 1:1 Tires dressed with Car Brite Purple Dressing there you have it. Nothing special........
looks real good Chris...nice and clean..you still have the magic touch..and the collinite looks as good as the more expensive waxes I seen on paint...the 885 Fleetwax is some nice wax for the money...and lasts ... Keep up the nice work.... Al
Thanks AL. He wanted a durable wax, and as long as I have used 885, it holds up pretty darn well. I wish I brought my canopy with me today, as the toasty sun made everything take longer... think we it 94* today. I wish winter would hurry up and get here... HA HA HA
Very nice TTB! :applause2: How long did it take for the interior to dry out with that 94* temp??? :waiting2: :giggle: Just messin with ya. Dave
:thumb:Looks good put we expect special things from you Chris. Not this nothing speical stuff. :shakehead:It must be warm in Texas.
I've been told I was a special boy Gary.... very special... haha not warm... HOTTTT I was pleased with the look of 885, but applying in the sun is a big no-no. I had to go back over the car with a detail spray to clean up.
forgot the pic of the wheel. (And NO, I did not miss a spot. That is the reflection of the asphalt. Everyone says I missed a spot....):bla2:
DUDE I HATE YOU!!! I wanna detail I Vette.... guess I gotta wait till the carshow in april before i get my hands on one!!!
Good job! How does the Purple Dressing work for you? I've been playing with dressings lately, and find that even though that gives an amazing amount of shine, it tends to spray off the tire really easily, even a while after it's been applied. Do you have that problem?
When is that show again? I'd like to take my boys up there with me.... I have sling as well. Not so much now as I did before. I used to spray it on, which is a no-no. Was awful. Then I used a brush to apply it. It worked well and covered evenly, but still some sling. Recently, I started using a foam tire dressing applicator, from the parts store I , and it does well. Using the foam sponge, I control how much goes on. I go on light with an extra coat for coverage. Not too much, not too little. I still find that the dressing need to actually set for a little while too. But, if you ever have too much, always wipe with a rag. Be careful that the dressing doesn't settle in the cracks of the tire too. Will cause slingage. (is that a word?) I am trying my hardest...lol
The Vett looks great :druling: just look at the reflection well done :applause2: Thank you for sharing eace:
Chris, I must have miss this one, sorry bro I've been busy....Outstanding job...I love seeing your work as always...So take pics dangit!:applause2:
