Just finished today(10-18-2010) this is a car which needed some pretty good paint correction, but other than that the owner takes VERY good care of it(unlike the previously completed job I did last week......).

Grabber orange with orange/black interior, cool American Muscleness to change the pace up from the usual(lol) eurotrash..........

    The beginning.

    Deep marring around hood latch.

After two hits w/compound and wool pad.

Marring on the top of front driver quarter panel.

    Water spotting as well.

    Front quarter panel finished down.

    More examples of marring.[/B
    ]

    50/50 of same area.

    Window cover before correction.

    After.

    Top of drivers rear quarter.

    Marring all cleared up.

2.5 inch deep scratch near fuel filler cap.

Reading to make sure enough clear to work with.

    Machine sanded.

    Wool & foam pad compounded.

    Marred tailights.

    Cleared up.

    Marring on rear bumper.

    50/50's.

    Corrected.

    Cluster of scratches.

Whole top of bumper smoothed out.

Checking one scratch that needed multiple passes to level.

DeWalt with it's torque and a edge wool pad making quick work of the scratches.

    Same area all polished down.

    Front bumper needed some love.............

    After.

Factory graphics were faded and marred, tricky steps needed as I could not "Shine up" the matte finish.

    50/50 of the rear wing.

    Entire trunk/wing assembly looking better.

Correction work done, while the LSP was curing(Menz Powerlock in this case) it was time to strip the tires and polish the wheels.

A few final pics before going outside for sun pics(almost missed the sun again......winter is coming shorter days(not good).

Sick car and great work! I'd love to get my hands on something like that but all we have here is "Euro trash" :) What did you use for the matte graphics?

Great work bob. I love how you have a punching bag in the shop. I bet that comes in handy at times!

Looks great Bob, the matte looks great. I can't imagine you wouldn't break that punching bag, even I knock my 100lb Everlast off the chains sometimes.

For a Century "Cheapo version" bag it works well for the low kicks I like.
