2007 Lifted Silverado Paint Correction

    This detail was a bit different, to say the least lol. Customer contacted us through Facebook, got onto planning it for the same week and along came a nearly 7 foot lifted Silverado in a mind boggling black/brown color. Car was to be entered in a show car 2 days after pickup. Enjoy!


    What was done:
    - Before pictures
    - Wheels hit with Sonax full effect and iron x
    - Tires treated with Adams APC and prima nero
    - Engine sprayed down and treated with in and out spray
    - De-Bugged with 1Z Bug and Tar Remover
    - Exterior wash using lusso auto bathe and foam gun w/ CG Citrus Wash
    - Door, hood and trunk jambs cleaned
    - Prima nero, 303 Aerospace and CG QD Spray on undercarriage
    - Aquartz Iron Cut to decontaminate
    - Clayed entire exterior including windows
    - Taped up
    - 3 step - m105 -> menz sip -> opti poli-seal
    - Rubber and vinyl cleaned w/ In and Out, Prima nero
    - Exhaust tips polished
    - Polished driveshaft, diff box and skid plate polished with Optimum Metal Polish
    - Suspension polished w/ Optimum Metal Polish and Poliseal
    - Windows clayed again and cleaned with prima clarity
    - Wheels waxed with Prima Wheel Armour
    - Exterior Wax -> 1Z Glanz Wax


    Interior:
    - Vacuum
    - Trims treated with Prima Nero, Adams in and out and 1Z Cockpit Premium
    - Interior glass cleaned with clarity


    Products used:
    Exterior wash:
    - Lusso auto bathe + CG Citrus Wash
    - Gilmour Foam gun w/ CG Citrus Wash
    - Uber Sponge
    - Uber super drying microfiber towel
    - Great White Drying Towel
    - Prima nero and 303 Aerospace on undercarriage
    - Aquartz Iron Cut
    - 1Z Bug and Tar Remover


    Engine:
    - Adams APC
    - Adams In n out spray


    Interior:
    - 1z Cockpit Premium
    - In n out and Prima Clarity and Nero to clean the trims


    Paint correction:
    - Porter Cable PC 7424XP
    - Flex 3401
    - Flex PE-14
    - Uber green and blue 4/5.5 pads
    - Surbuf pads 5.5
    - Megs 105
    - Menz SIP
    - Opti Poli-seal
    - 1z Glanz Wax

    Damn . . . . . nice truck. It looked like a lot of work. I've done a few lifted trucks and they can be a PITA with all the shocks and what not.

    I'm sure the customer was stoked.

    I was worried about it not fitting into the garage but i had about an inch clearance which was cool lol

    those two piece Fuel offroad wheels are bad ass............

    good job, trucks, especially lifted are not easy to do.............

    I actually liked the lifted truck to work on, especially the side panels. No kneeling down or even laying down for a slammed/lowered track spec bmw like all other times haha :) Only pain was the hood but I have to do what i have to do right?
