Hey guys, figured i would drop another car on ya. This one is one of my best customers ride and this was a light polishing detail . Here was my process Wash - 4 oz./2 gallons of water with Citrus Wash n Gloss Clay - Chemical Guys Gray Tires - Meg's APC+ cut 4:1 and a stiff brush and dressed with CG Xtreme Shine 2x ( he likes the bling) Wheels - Citrus Blue Wheel Cleaner cut 6:1 (i was nervous on these wheels) Wheel Wells - Long handle brush and Meg's APC+ dressed with Meg's Hyperdressing cut 4:1 All trim got Xtreme Shine as well Paint 106ff via Flex and Orange LC pad...this clear was rock hard so i needed an orange pad and i felt like it was LSP ready Sealant - Poorboy's EXP (this is my go to sealant for light vehicles, i like the look) Wax - Poorboy's Natty's Blue Wheels polished with Never Dull, a very underestimated product in my book Here she is! Thanks for looking!
That looks excellent, very nice work! I'm surprised by the EX-P though, that's probably the worst sealant I have ever used... Looks good, but the durability is about... an hour!
It definitely isnt the best sealant i have ever used, but i get about 1-2 months of durability and for me..thats enough because of how many different combos i try out all the time even on customers cars...i have about half a 16 oz bottle left and i wont be replenishing it but i do love the look on light colors but as you said the durability is sketchy...i see the car once a week so i will keep on top of it and let yall know the final verdict and refresh as needed...next coat will definitely be Jetseal
