Another one of my older details....

I was asked to detail a 2006 Subaru Impreza STi, as usual ill let the pics tell the story:

    The car before the detailing...

So initially i gave the car a rinse down with the pressure washer, then went to work on the alloys with the Bilberry Wheel Cleaner

At this point noticed a few issues with one of the alloys (made by a bodyshop) which was reported to the owner.

I then APC'd the door hinges, petrol cap

Then i moved onto the engine bay...

Cleaned with APC, allowed to dry then applyed trim detailer to both the engine and the bonnet underside

I left the engine running, allowed to dry, then wiped away any excess....

    Then back to the bodywork:

I then snowfoamed the car, to remove as much dirt as possible before washing

and removed as much dirty from any crevis with a detailing brush

    I then rinsed the car

then washed, rinsed and clayed....and washed and rinsed again

the dried using a waffel and some paint measurements taken

Average reading was between 140-160 microns but on panel was much higher showing evidence of a respray which was confirmed by the owner....

So opted to used Meg #105 to correct the paint and remove the swirls and scratches

Another pass with the #105 refined using Meg #205, The interior was shampoo hoovered, interior wiped down with APC andall the trim detailed, windows cleaned. Alloys were sealed using Jetseal 109.
