First detail post on the Bliss and my first detail in VA performed. A little precursor. It was cold as ice outside high of 43 with the wind blowing 15-20 MPH. Man I need to write someone about this DC weather. Needless to say I did a poor job of the before and after pics. Unfortunately zoomzoom I sold my Makita before I left Fl and all I had was ws my PC, spent well over an hour on the hood alone, I have got to get another Makita!!!!!!! My buddys wife decided to take an ice scraper to the hood to chip away some of the ice this winter. :yikes:
Nice job pooter especially for having to PC it. And since it was so cold what is cuz doing wearing shorts?!? Really good job on it and the silver looks great. Black Wow did a number on the trim too. Oh and what in the world did you have to use Grime Reaper straight on? I dilute 4:1 for wells and engines.
Well done Pooter vehicle looks great :applause2: :applause2: Engine bay looks great but the exterior trim looks great, you got to love Black WOW :worship: Thank you for sharing with us, just curious how long did this one take you?
nice engine detail.. what did you cover on it? i find honda engines compartment to show everything..wires and stuff.. i'm always interested what to cover on the car..
Buddy was weary shorts because he is a rock, and only spent no longer than a few minutes outside at a time, he was wearing a jacket. As for the Grime reaper, I wasn't sure how to use it yet. It is new to the arsenal.
Nica, Took 1 1/2 on the hood alone and about 45 minutes on the drivers door, rest was pretty clean, only a few scratch/marks here and there. All together I would say bout 6 hours solo.
mainly alternator and belt. carry 1 gal freezer bags with me to cover and the belt gets covered with a soaked (water) terry towl to avoid sepage through a dry one. I also do not use pressure washer. Using presure washer tends to disconnect wires at times and break frayed wires.
