Hey Everyone, Had a 2006 Audi S4 Brilliant Black booked for a Exterior Detailing. 2 stage polishing, wax and touch up paint to the front road rash from tracking the car. Car is well taken care of but needed a good paint correction. I had actually done a light polish on it not too long ago and the customer wanted to go a little bit more this time around. Process Wheels, tires, wheel wells - OPC dilution Trim and plastics - Light OPC dilution with swissvax brush Paint pretreated with OPC rinse off with hose by hot water tap in garage. ONR wash Clayed - Meguiar's Pro Clay (Mild) IPA wipedown Dried and water blown from cracks with compressed air Paint Correction FLEX 3401 - Yellow Uber - M105 FlEX 3401 - Green Uber - M205 Protection Tried and true Collinite 845 Tires - Opti-bond Wheels - Aquawax Glass - Previously used Wolf Glass Guard on windshield and it was still on there strong so just a quick wipedown with water. All other glass got Aquawax Any questions please ask! Enjoy! Rear wheel - Winter setup Clean Front wheel Clean Left side before Right side corrected Back over to left side corrected Glamour shots DIY foam applicator Always end with the favorite shot Thanks for checking it out! Comments or questions!
my next carrr, that is a sick winter setup too. Good work man, and tell the owner next time to bring it back un-fishbowled. tints would make that car a million times meaner.
Wheelz25 --- That is beautiful, beautiful, black paint !!!! You totally rocked this one out - always nice when the Client pays for a good correction like this ! The hood shot with the clouds and sun peeking through is my favorite - thanks for taking the time to do all this for us ! Looks like good old reliable Collenite 845 Insulator Wax is still a great finisher you think ? He is so dialed in for the last of winter - the nicest looking Audi around. Great job ! Dan F
Very nice work! Those winter tires look serious...but I am unfamiliar with such things as I reside in the "Awesome Weather" state of California Those are some serious brakes too.....
Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment! Must be nice to not have to worry about all the things winter brings...snow, shovels, extra coats, gloves... Yea the brakes are an upgraded setup as the owner tracks the car and has some made some engine and suspension modifications.
