    Tonya Welcome to Detailing

This is a daily driver that was in great shape. I only had to do minor correction in a few spots, it was mostly minor scratches :thumb: Thank goodness because this clear was as hard as nails!

Here is what I started with.

    Some scuff marks

    Ohh.. that’s not good

I am not sure if you can see it but there is a slight scratch across the hood

He said he is always fighting brake dust. Poor guy :itsok: I am just the person to take care of this :giggle:

Interior was not bad at all :thumb:

For once it was not raining so I got started on those rims. Now… which one does not belong. :giggle:

    There we go…. Much better!

Washed and clayed the car. I took a pic so you could see I was only using ½ a bar this time. So.. stop making fun of me :rollingpin: :giggle:

Scrubbed the floor mats and gave the interior carpet a quick clean. It was not bad at all.

Cleaned and gave them some stripes.. sorry they are hard to see.

Started polishing and got that slight scratch and a few others :thumb:

OK… the hood is looking good :thumb:

Side is done and I was able to catch the Ohio State flag in the reflection shot :thumb: GO BUCKS!

Now …….I really hated these lower panels with the crease in them… so I smeared DG 501 all over the lower panels and removed most of the scuffs by hand. Then followed up with DG 501 on a white pad speed 3. I hated the way I had to hold the PC and the crease made me nervous. I was afraid I would lose control of the PC. But it worked. What should I have done?

I didn’t get all of it.. but it is an improvement  I used SCG absolutely perfect polish by hand  Any other suggestions for next time?

Now for the engine it needed a little work  Opps I startd on it a little before I took the before pics :giggle:

I almost missed the inside upper part of the chrome in the grill :thud:

I did what I could for the engine. I still will not use the pressure washer. Too scary!

I know you guys love black wow but I still have some Black again :thumb: Wolfpacker saying never get it on the paint has me nervous

    On to the interior

I caught that streak on the left side and fixed it already :thumb:

Yep….. Jimmie I am using those sticks you sent me. Thanks again! They work great on the vents too. I wrapped a MF around it :thumb:

If finally stopped raining so I rolled it out of the garage and took some pics as fast as I could. Ketil you better appreciate these shots because I had to wipe the darn pollen off even though it was only outside for a minute :rollingpin:

I tired to capture the flakes

Tonya..great job as usual. I love those wheels, nice amount of space between the spokes..what a blessing there.:) For the chrome with the scuff, I would try a very small spot with 00 steel wool and chrome cleaner, or 501. That is the most aggressive I get with chrome. Did you try the 501 on it? The 303 looks good on the engine too. This shot is becoming your signature shot (even though it was a BEFORE pic in this case):

Thanks Jimmie. Yep..... 2 coats HGSG toped with AW :giterdone: Thanks for the suggestion!
    Thanks Richy!
It didn't take me any time at all! Sparkie came up and taught me how to use a rotary. The heck with getting that tiny little Flex Wolfpacker....I am getting a rotary dude :rollinglaugh: j/k
Thanks P1et. The car is still here :applause2: I am going to see if I can get the DG501 to get the rest of the chrome scuff :headbang:

 I tried the DG 501 but I am just not strong enough :thud:
 oh well it is an improvement from when he dropped it off. The steel wool scares me, I have only used it on tail pipes:giggle: I will leave well enough alone :giggle: Thanks for the suggestion Richy!
