Hi I thought I would post this as a first show it off, it was done over the summer before I went on holiday It is a 2005 ford Mondeo ST TDCI which i have owned for 2 years the car has never really been well looked after as it is used as the mom bus but here goes hope u enjoy!

Well I finally decided to detail the Mondeo. It was mainly outside as my wife has been away at our holiday home most of the summer and then We had a few trips here and there... So It is now going for a few more coats and then the interior will be sorted.
    But first the outside.

The car TBH has never really been polished outside in the 2 years of ownership, just a good weekly wash and then a coat of natty's blue every couple of months. The reason for this was the car came from the dealers COVERED in very light cobwebs and swirls and for a new car I was a bit gutted, but I wanted to get a good grasp or the products I have gathered plus a good PC before I attempted anything.

This is where the thank-yous start.
Firstly to Clark for his advice and replying to my emails with what must have been tedious questions but were always answered quickly and enthusiastically so thanks m8!!!:thumb:

    • Second toCGraham2k for the lend of the PC to try out my (lack) of skill so a big thanks m8 to u too.

    Method Used

Car was power hosed to loose the loose dirt.
Then soaped with AC components Snow Foam and left to dwell for 15 mins
Car was hosed and soap reapplied.
Washed using a mix of serious performance wash and Elite whizz wash and wax.

As u can see water is sticking to the bodywork and beading is pretty pathetic.

Next the car was given a good claying using Megs grey bar and QD as a lubricant. This is after only 2 doors!!!!!

After this the car was washed again using the same methods as above and ready for a bit of a session with the PC!!!!:buffer: as u can see I had a little helper all the way handy for those hard to reach areas!!!:thumb:

After polishing the car was then covered with snow foam to remove all dust and hosed. then dried using waffle cloth and QD!! this method is great as this was the first time I used it..

Finally the car received a coat of Z*mol HD Cleanse the car received 2 coats of Vic concourse and a good dusting off and finally a few pics...
