Completed today, this is a car a repeat client just picked up and it was in pretty good shape over all but needed that last 10% to be "Certified tightness". I have always been fond of the 550/575 bodystyle as I fit in them(lol) and they drive and look beautiful. Certain parts need aggressive correction and the clearfilm was marred pretty badly so here it is. Initial compounding 50/50 of the film. Deep marring removed. Marring on film on the lower rocker. Big improvement. More marring on the small seperate pieces of film. After. A few deep RIDS. Buzzed with 3000 trixact. After wool pad correction. Same panel after finer polishing. Factory sand scratches. After correction. Another cluster of scratches. After. More marring on passenger side rocker. After.
Carbon thresholds were marred as well. After first compounding stage. A DEEP scratch................this would not be fun. Depth reading taken after sanding. After some patient compounding/sanding the finish is corrected. Reading taken after sanding/compounding. Oops................someone kissed the side of the garage at some point(Previous owner). All better. Another Ferrari with "Helen Keller applied wax". Handled. Interior pics(Understated tightness). Finished up.
Infratech showed better on the "Nero Daytona" than my LED flashlight, just to make sure. Upgraded HGTC tips. Sun pics.
